Answers to your questions!

What is the dress code for wedding events?

  • Friday night is smart casual, the bride will be wearing a dress and the groom will be looking like a snack, as usual.

  • Saturday ceremony and reception dress code is cocktail attire. We'll be on grassy areas so choose your shoes wisely.

Dress code for the clubhouse and rest of the weekend is come-as-you-are!

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please respond by August 1, 2025 via the Ausable Club’s website.

What should I pack for activities?

Hiking: The Ausable Club is in the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks and there are numerous short (or longer) hikes to do in the area. Hiking boots are always best if you have them, but sturdy sneakers (that you don’t mind getting muddy) work too.

Tennis: Tennis shoes and whites required. Rackets available to borrow.

Golf: Collared shirt required.  Clubs available to rent and carts are also available.

Lawn Bowling: Flat, closed-toed shoes required.

What are the nearby airports to fly into?

  • Albany International Airport

  • Burlington International Airport

  • Plattsburgh International Airport

  • Montreal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport

Just note that the Ausable Club is still located about 2 hours from these airports. We recommend renting a car to continue your travel to the Club.

If I am staying at the Ausable Club, will I need a car to get to the different events being hosted for the wedding?

No, everything is held at the Club. Once you arrive you can park the car for the whole weekend!

Can I arrive earlier than Friday or stay later than Sunday?

Yes, if you would like to extend your stay beyond the Friday - Saturday Night Package, please contact the Club for pricing and options.

Wedding events are adults only. If you are in need of child care please let us know and we can connect you with the Ausable Club for local babysitters.
